Whatsapp New Version 2017 Released Now 

The  New Version of  Whatsapp  had come today . WhatsApp   updated  the  new  Status  feature  for  its  Users tomorrow night (23 Feburary 2017) .  Social media functionality is added now. Social apps like Instagram , Twitter , Facebook  already  have this  feature .  A  new  status  tab  will  be  seen  by you when you update the latest version of whatsapp .  The feature is live on Android, iOS and Windows smartphones across the world. This feature is announced by the  whatsapp  earlier  this  week in  feburary . Probably  Whatsapp  is  inspired  by  this  feature  from  Snapchat  or  Instagram .

What’s New :-
Now The status message is gone. A new 24 Hour status message has come .

This new WhatsApp Status feature is not like old text status which remain same for long time , until you change the new one. This new status feature works for only 24 Hours .After 24 hours you have to change the status .

Now you can See who viwed your status in the past time .

This is not the First ever feature on the social web .Snapchat, instagram and many other social places provides this feature .

Secondly,

You can now edit and Post photos ,videos and Gif’s using the new version of this whatsapp .

WhatsApp is giving you control about who can see your Status update as well .

On Android :
The option of Status Privacy is given in the settings. Just tap the three dots on top of WhatsApp homepage , and you will see Status Privacy option on top . There you will get this feauture .

On Ios :
There is a privacy option button right on the Top.
You have three options as follows :
1. “my contacts”
2. “contacts except…”
3. “only share with…”
