Allen, Misharron Jermeisha (born December 7, 1996) is a professional rapper known as Asian Da Brat and Asian Doll in the United States. Asian Doll, a Dallas native, was Gucci Mane’s 1017 Eskimo Records’ first female artist. Allen was the second daughter of four children born to LaKeithia Lewis and Michael Allen on December 7, 1996. Park Row, a project area on Dallas’s south side, is where he grew up. Allen’s childhood was marked by insecurity, as a result of poverty and her father’s in and out of prison. Allen belongs to the Crips. Allen dropped out of Skyline High School in the 12th grade.
On December 16, 2015, her debut album, Da Rise of Barbie Doll Gang Empire, was released., as well as media-influenced social “beefs,” have aided in attracting more attention.Drippin in Glo (2016), Project Princess Vol. 1 (2016), OuttaSpace (2017), Kill Bill, Vol. 1 (2017), Doll SZN, So Icy Princess (2018), and UNFUCCWITABLE (2018) are some of her other creations (May 3, 2019). On April 8, 2020, she released Doll SZN Reloaded. Allen is the proprietor of a business.
Allen changed her name to Asian Da Brat in 2019 to distinguish herself from a group of female rappers who went by the stage name Doll.Asian Da Brat was allegedly inspired by Da Brat, a veteran female rapper from Chicago whose debut studio album Funkdafied was the first platinum-certified album by a female rapper.Allen revealed in an April 2019 interview on Hot97 that Da Brat was a reference to the Bratz Dolls brand of girls’ toys.
On her left hand, Asian Da Brat has a tattoo of her late boyfriend King Von (who died in 2020).In the 2020 presidential election, she backed Donald Trump.Allen revealed in January 2021 that he was depressed as a result of King Von’s death. She made an appearance on Taraji P. Henson’s show “Peace of Mind with Taraji” a few days later. Allen was arrested in Georgia, United States, on September 4, 2020, on unspecified accusations. Four days later, she was released on bond.
Asian Doll sat down for an emotional interview on the death of her ex-boyfriend King Von.Asian Doll has been candid about her grieving process since Von’s murder in a tragic shooting in Atlanta in November. She identified him as her “first love” and “first true lover” in the interview, and she believes he was her “soulmate.” She also spoke about the moment she received the news of his death, claiming that she was still hopeful when she first learned he was in serious condition.
“He had already passed away when they claimed he was in serious condition,” she explained at 3:40 in the episode. “Someone from the hospital called me, one of the nurse’s daughters, and she was crying on the other end of the line. ‘Asian, I’m so sorry…my grandma works at the hospital, and he passed away, so they placed an X on his suitcase,’ she said. So I already knew he was dead when they announced it on social media.”
She stated her “whole world just shattered” as soon as the news was broken to her and disseminated across social media. With tears streaming down her cheeks, she expressed her dissatisfaction with the news, saying she felt “broken.” The pair had divorced less than a week before the shooting, and she had stated that she was “very hard on him” at the time. “I’d think…nah, it’s unthinkable that Von would ever act like that.”
“You can chase this life as long as you want,” Asian Doll told any rappers watching the event, “but this cycle just continues repeating and repeating to the point where it’s like, how many more rappers or music influencers are we going to lose until people just finally wake up?”
Henson and co-host Tracie Jade also chatted with Pop Smoke’s brother Obasi Jackson over the rest of the broadcast. He detailed the moment he learned the news with emotion, admitting that he didn’t believe it at first because it was such a shock. He explained, “Me losing my own brother…I’m going through so many things.” “I won’t be able to hug my brother again, tell him how much I love him, see him…I won’t be able to show him my achievements.”
He also stressed the need of being vulnerable. “I’m a firm believer that men, especially Black men, should be vulnerable…and open up and show the world what they’re feeling and who they genuinely are,” he stated. “Because we’ve been oppressed, we’ve been imprisoned, and it’s from there that all of these horrible acts have arisen. Sometimes my mind can’t even understand it.”

Asian Doll Biography/Wiki
Katy Perry is one of my favourite artists. I’ve admired Queen Latifah since I first saw her in Set It Off. Everyone who was a Black woman in the game when I was younger. It was something I admired as a kid. Now, I couldn’t care less about these jerks (laughs). The OGs: I fucked with it if you were winning and on TV. In terms of female rappers during my time, no one was a god like Nicki Minaj.
What impact did Nicki Minaj and Katy Perry have on you?Katy sparked my creative side by demonstrating her own creativity. I enjoyed everything she did. Every [music] was unlike anything I’d heard before, and unlike what everyone else was listening to. Katy Perry was like a fantasy to me, and she was my spirit animal. Everything about it appealed to me: the colours, the films, and her entire production. Nicki was the only female rapper on the scene, and she was signed to Wayne, whom everyone adored. Her birthday falls on the same day as mine. She had a significant impact on culture, and I grew up during that time. Nicki’s swag was fucked with.
What was it like to be a young Asian Doll growing up in Dallas? No, I’m not a gangster (laughs). Lots of vigour, super-inspiring, and down-to-earth. Growing up, I was cool and entertaining to be around, and I had a lot of friends. I threw a lot of get-togethers and kickbacks. Since middle school, I’ve been a huge hit in my city.
When did you think you had the potential to be a rapper? When I posted my first song on Facebook, everyone at school was talking about it the next day. Some individuals like it, while others laughed. “You ought to do that shit!” shouted others.
We are working much harder than these niggas. We’re stepping on people’s necks and obtaining what we fucking deserve that motherfuckers are trying to take away from us. They counted us out to give the impression that this is a male-dominated sport. If you’re a woman, you’re in luck because you’re getting rich. We’re demonstrating to these males that girls are no longer silent, and that they are getting their money. Girls are rushing to get their hands on this bag and are no longer remaining at home. We’re out here hustling and grinding as well. We want automobiles and chains. That’s a lifestyle we’d like to have as well.
How can you lead others as a powerful Black woman with a platform?By believing in themselves, advocating for themselves, and working hard to achieve their goals. Someone will take you seriously only if they see you taking yourself seriously. I always encourage people that whatever they want to do in life, they should not mess around with it. Put your whole heart and soul into it.
Have you ever faced any challenges as a woman in the industry? Many instances, including how the label or others try to communicate with and treat you as a woman. There are so many fucking egos in the profession, especially among males. I don’t allow any of that nonsense get to me since there are so many egos when it comes to women. I also want to assist young women and remind them that, at the end of the day, people will only take you seriously if you take yourself seriously. Many times, people have invited me out to perform, but when I arrive, it isn’t going to happen. I was sucking up all the gleam in their eyes, all kinds of nonsense. When it comes to the industry, you can tell the difference between the guys and the girls throughout treatment. That is why I am now self-sufficient.
1017/Alamo Records was your record label. In what ways has your path been self-sufficient?Great! I waited a year for my release and was dating Von at the time. Von’s career was advancing, so I had a distraction to keep me from thinking about my own situation, which was very messed up with Gucci and them. Not with the label, but outside of it, I made a lot of money. It’s been fantastic; I’m having a terrific time from the outside looking in and collecting royalties. I don’t always have to drop on a certain day when artists have to. I’m free to drop one on any given day. Polo G’s mother is now in charge of my management. We’re going to make history; we held a meeting yesterday and everything was confirmed.
