Carl Capers, who worked as a DJ and tour manager for YoungBoy, sued YoungBoy Never Broke Again and Quando Rondo in March 2019 for assaulting him at their concert in December 2018.

An confrontation between the crews of rappers King Von and Quando Rondo outside an Atlanta nightclub on November 6, 2020, led in a shoot-out and the death of King Von. Quando and his gang claimed they were acting in self-defense and that Von was the aggressor; according to TMZ, Quando was asleep in a car outside the nightclub before to the altercation and awoke to see King Von and his crew furiously approaching him and his pals. Prior to the gunfight, there was footage of Von punching Quando Rondo’s men.  Surveillance footage also showed Rondo assisting “Lul Timm” in getting to the hospital.

Quando Rondo stayed nothing about the incident until two weeks later, when he released “End of Story,” a song that was widely considered to be a reference to Von’s “Crazy Story” song trilogy. In the song, he talks about the shooting and his role in it.  In the song, he reiterates that he was protecting himself, and he even expresses his sympathy for his friend Timothy Leeks, also known as Lul Tim, who was accused with Von’s murder. Quando denied that the song was a dig at Von in April 2021, claiming that he had no idea Von had songs with that title.  Despite the harsh criticism, Quando has maintained his public support for Leeks.

Quando Rondo has shared his side of the tale from the night King Von was fatally shot in Atlanta in a new interview with Angela Yee.

The interview is the first of several segments and is titled “November 6th,” the same date Von was shot and died. Quando Rondo described the events that led up to the shooting from his point of view. “I walked to the car, I told my brother, ‘it’s this amount to park right here,’” he claimed, referring to rapper Timothy ‘Lul Tim’ Leeks, who is accused of shooting Von. “‘I’m not going to the club,’ I said. You’ve got fifteen minutes to find a tiny chick or anything. Then I’m going to dip. “We’re going to the house.”

Rondo has claimed that he was napping in his car when the shooting occurred. He stated he stepped out of the car after a short nap to saw “a number of people” approaching him.

“In my head, I’m just thinking normally, as you would expect.” These people are about to stroll right past me. “I’m not going to try to work my way through these folks or anything,” he continued. “I’m guessing these were just average people….” As a result, I’m allowing this group to visit. The next thing I know, I’m being attacked by a n***a. Bow, boom. I will not deceive you. It’s as though I’ve experienced a near-death experience.”

Quando Rondo Biography/Wiki

BIOGRAPHY:

For the time being, the interview comes to an end there, but Rondo never directly mentions Lul Tim or King Von. Quando Rondo reportedly awoke to find the altercation already in progress, with Von allegedly approaching him and his crew aggressively, according to TMZ.

Quando Rondo recently told All Around TV that club promoters are hesitant to book him after his associate allegedly murdered King Von in a shootout in November 2020.

“No one wants to hire me because they’re afraid,” Rondo explained. “You are correct. So many people have called to say things like, “I wish the fans would just let that go.” So long as you’re both talking about it. They’re making a big deal out of it.”

It’s not the first time the 22-year-old Georgia rapper’s live gigs have been cancelled because of his claimed involvement in Von’s terrible death. The Mayor of Georgia cancelled Quando Rondo’s event in November because police judged it a threat to public safety.

Rondo exclaimed, “The mayor cancelled my show, on my daughter’s life.” “Big bro, those are the facts. I’m not going to cancel a show.”Quando Rondo also discussed the death threats he’s received as a result of his involvement to King Von’s death in an interview with All Around TV.

“However some sh*t comes to me,” Rondo stated, “that’s how I’m about to go about that sh*t.” “You may threaten death all you want, dude, but f*ck it, that’s just some words, my n***a.” “Go do something.”

Timothy “Lul Tim” Leeks, a buddy of Rondo’s, is accused of shooting Von during a brawl between their respective teams. The fatal event happened outside an Atlanta nightclub on November 6, 2020, when an altercation between two parties suddenly escalated into shooting. Von was one among those who received gunshot wounds and was taken to the hospital right after. Shortly later, he was pronounced dead.Timothy Leeks was charged with Von’s murder and released on a $100,000 bond from the Fulton County Jail.

Quando Rondo was thrown into the spotlight after King Von’s death, as it was claimed that his group was involved in the confrontation that resulted in Von’s death. Several statements were made on social media, and Quando Rondo ultimately sat down with Angela Yee in the back of a car for a lengthy chat. Rondo’s conduct in the interview was instantly criticised, as it appeared like he was avoiding questions and attempting to appear empathetic.

Druski has been working on his Quando Rondo impersonation since then, and he finally exposed it to the world this week. Druski shared a new prank on Instagram, in which he is disguised as Quando Rondo and sitting in the back of a car. As you can see, the comedian is accompanied by a woman who is portraying Angela Yee, and he is hitting all of the right notes.

Druski goes on a series of incomprehensible rants throughout the sketch, which are designed to mirror Quando Rondo’s own storey telling. From then, he keeps repeating the phrase “ma’am,” which Rondo used several times in his interview. Lil Yachty and Adin Ross, among others, thought the entire skit was hilarious and posted nice comments.

If you’ve seen the original Rondo interview, you’ll notice that the Druski impersonation is quite accurate. In the comments section below, let us know what you think of the skit.
