Bebe Rexha  is an American singer and songwriter. Bleta Rexha (Albanian:  August 30, 1989) is an Albanian singer and songwriter.  Rexha gained songwriting credits on Eminem’s tune “The Monster” (which went on to win the Grammy Award for Best Rap/Sung Performance) after signing with Warner Records in 2013.

Better Mistakes, Rexha’s second studio album, was released in 2021. Bleta Rexha was born in the Brooklyn borough of New York City on August 30, 1989, to ethnic Albanian parents. Flamur Rexha, her father, was born in Debar, today’s North Macedonia, when it was still part of Yugoslavia. Her mother, Bukurije Rexha, was born in America to an Albanian family with roots in Gostivar, North Macedonia, and came to the United States at the age of 21. “My parents are Albanian, and people started calling me ‘Bebe’ for short,” she remarked, explaining that blet means “bee” in Albanian.  When she was six years old, she and her family relocated to Staten Island.  Florent is Rexha’s younger brother. “I Can’t Stop Drinking About You,” Rexha’s debut single, was released on March 21, 2014.The song reached number 22 on the Top Heatseekers list in the United States.On August 12, 2014, the music video was released. Images from films like Girl, Interrupted, and Melancholia were used to create the video. Rexha was featured on rapper Pitbull’s song “This Is Not a Drill” in November 2014.  She was named Elvis Duran’s Artist of the Month in September 2014, and she appeared live on NBC’s Today show with Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb, where she played her single “I Can’t Stop Drinking About You.”
