Bobby Bonilla (Template:PronEng, born February 23, 1963 in The Bronx, New York) is a former Major League Baseball player who played from 1986 to 2001. Bonilla is of Puerto Rican descent and was known as “Bobby Bo” during his playing days. He was known as the $29 million man. Syd Thrift, a Pittsburgh Pirates scout, signed Bonilla out of high school.
