Apollo 55 defeated Koji Kanemoto and El Samurai at the end of July to capture the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship for the second time in as many months. Finn Balor successfully defended the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship against Davey Richards in December 2010, and then again in January 2011 against Kota Ibushi in Japan, retaining the title for the second time. The IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship was re-captured by Apollo 55 in 2011, making Balor, for the second time in his professional wrestling career, a two-time champion of the IWGP for the first time.

The IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship was successfully defended by him until May of 2011 when he retired. In June, he was defeated in the championship finals by Kota Ibushi, who had previously defeated him. In April 2013, he defeated Alex Shelley to become only the third person in the history of the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship to do it successfully. He had previously earned and lost the championship numerous times during the course of 2011 and 2012. While Apollo 55 was unsuccessful in his attempt to challenge Time Splitters for the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship, he did not lose the championship to Time Splitters as a result. As a result, Balor decided to end his collaboration with Taguchi and pursue other opportunities.

‘Bullet Club’ was founded in May 2013 by Finn Balor, American wrestler Karl Anderson, and Tongan wrestlers Tama Tonga and Bad Luck Fale, with the assistance of additional wrestlers. He has since gone on to win the WWE Universal Championship twice more, in the WWE Royal Rumble match and the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match.

In the following week, Bálor defeated Seth Rollins at SummerSlam to win the WWE Universal Championship and become the company’s first-ever world champion. Shinsuke Nakamura called him back to the NXT roster on February 22nd, and he was there to assist him.

A six-man tag team match featuring him, Sami Zayn, and Chris Jericho was held on March 10 in which he defeated his rival team, which was comprised of Kevin Owens, Samoa Joe, and Triple H.
