Kid Ink is a rap artist, singer, songwriter, and record producer from the city of Los Angeles in the United States. His given name is Brian Todd Collins, but he goes by Collins. His stage name is Kid Ink, although people also call him by his real name. Following the release of an extended play (EP) titled Almost Home, in 2012 he released his first independent album titled Up & Away.
The next year, in 2014, he released his first major studio album, which was titled My Own Lane. Since the beginning of his career, Kid Ink has been producing music that does not fit neatly into any category, and he has consistently refused to confine himself to a single musical type. 2009 was the year when he first began performing under the stage name “Rockstar.” It was in 2010 that he created the mixtape titled “World Tour,” which he distributed independently and exclusively through digital media.
As a result of the mixtape’s widespread success, he signed with the label known as “Tha Alumni Group.” In 2010, he began using the stage moniker “Kid Ink,” and to commemorate the occasion, he published his second mixtape, which was titled “Crash Landing.” “Daydreamer” was his third mixtape, and it was released in June of the same year.
