The organization took care of injured predators including cougars, bobcats, black bears, foxes, and raccoons, and finally released them back into the wild where they belonged. Terri Irwin started working at an emergency veterinary hospital in Eugene after she graduated from the University of Oregon in 1988.
She also had a big number of dogs, birds, and 15 cats at the same time. Her pets included both domestic and wild species. She offered to help organize and build up children’s zoos in local parks in return for the donation of her own animals to the zoos.
