Victoria Beckham is very careful when it comes to her parenting duties which is why there are some things that she does or doesn’t do in front of her children, depending on what they are. That being said, one of the things they’d never see is their mom skipping a meal.

The former Spice Girls band member chatted with Glamour U.K. since she is also on the cover of their Autumn/Winter 2019 issue.

Naturally, her and David Beckham’s four kids came up and she revealed that she is constantly trying to be a great example for them.

‘The older I get, the more that I realize what works for me and what does not. How working out and eating healthy is the key. When you have 4 children you accept that your body changes. It also puts a lot into perspective. You realize that they notice everything. I’d never sit down with my kids and skip a meal – they need to see their mum eats healthily – you need to show little people how to be healthy and happy with who they are,’ she explained to the news outlet.

Victoria went on to also dish that: ‘As parents, we have a responsibility to make sure that we communicate with our children, but let’s be honest, social media isn’t something we had to deal with while growing up. David and I are really close to our children and it is all about communication and protecting them as much as we can and making sure they’re strong, nice, decent human beings.’

And that is not all! The star also makes sure to teach the kids lessons she’d also learned throughout her life.

Her daughter and youngest child, Harper, gets these lesson the most, she dished.

After all, Victoria was apparently bullied in school so she makes sure to teach her how girls should act with other girls and that they should be kind to one another.

The designer and former singer mentioned that the bullying made her insecure and she would never want her daughter to feel that way, or make other girls feel like that.
